Mitch Brewe, Seattle Prep

Year: 2012
Height: 6'8"
Weight: 215lbs
Position: Forward
High School: Seattle Prep
AAU Team: Friends of Hoop
Status: Uncommitted

Strengths:
Brewe has an incredible touch at finishing in the low post. He is crafty and can easily draw contact.  Against smaller competition he is almost automatic. He has great hands and will catch almost every pass thrown somewhere around his body in the post. His free-throw shooting ability is above-average than most players his size. He has the ability to knock down short jump shots outside of the paint, 15 feet and in. He has a strong body inside allows him to bang his opponents to grab rebounds and protect the rim. His basketball IQ is high and his instincts are that of a natural big man's. He understands defensive concepts and is willing to be a team player on both ends of the court.

Weaknesses:
He has not developed a hook shot yet, which might hurt him in the long run because he lacks explosive athleticism. He lacks quickness and often has to outwork and outthink his defender to get the ball into the basket. He is undersized for his position and does not have a lot of lift for blocks and rebounds.

Evaluated: Seattle Prep vs. Community Charter 12/27/10
